A Wicked Good Laugh for a Worthy Local Cause
The Capitol Steps performed at the Latchis in 2006 & 2007 to a raucous, sold-out crowd. A 2008 election-year show promises to be even wilder, crazier, and sassier with all new skits, songs and silliness! This is a show you don't want to miss.
MAKE YOUR TICKET PURCHASES COUNT! Purchase your Capitol Steps tickets through the Windham Housing Trust—all profits support their housing work. They've reserved the best 250 seats in the theater--the entire Front Orchestra ($42 each).

Presented by Hilltown Music
This is the news you've been waiting for! If you were disappointed by the cancellation of the April show, now's your chance to buy tickets and be ready for October.
Named by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the Top 20 Guitarists of all-time and the recent recipient of both an Ivor Novello Award for Songwriting and the 2006 BBC Lifetime Achievement Award, the iconic British folk rock legend is one of the world's most critically acclaimed and prolific songwriters. His work is admired and recorded by such artists as Bonnie Raitt, David Byrne and Elvis Costello.
From his teenage years as a founding member of the 1960's pioneering group Fairport Convention to duo work with his then-wife, Linda Thompson, and over 20 years as a solo artist, to scoring Werner Hertzog's 2005 documentary 'Grizzly Man', Richard Thompson's astounding body of work includes over 40 albums of lyrical wit anchored by such a singular acoustic and electric guitar delivery that Newsweek recently announced, 'like all genuine art, it satisfies completely.'
Tickets: $33 advance / $36 day of show.
Available at www.brattleborotix.com
All seating is general admission.

These terrific kids took a research project on Greek mythology and turned it into a professional and informative booklet describing the hand painted murals that ring the main hall of the Latchis Theatre. The booklet is a valuable resource to educate the public about our murals and we invite you to borrow one or take it with you as you enjoy and learn about the artwork on our walls.
The Latchis Gallery is available for viewing during Gallery Walk, first Fridays, from 5:30-6:30; by appointment; and while you're at the movies.

Festival 05301(zip to Brattleboro!) is October's celebration of art and entertainment throughout Brattleboro. Click on the Festival logo (www.festival05301.org) to be transported to the Festival 05301 listing of performances and events.
