SUMMARY:Wagner in Vermont - Aug. 14-19
DESCRIPTION:Wagner in Vermont returns in 2026\, bookended by a new production of Tristan und Isolde\, the opera with which it all started back in 2019. Each show will have its own unique interpretation\, with a ‘darker’ version on August 14th in the evening\, and a ‘lighter’ version on August 19th as a matinee. \nAlso joining our main stage productions are Der Fliegende Holländer on August 16th\, closely followed by act two of Parsifal on August 17th. \n​The rest of the week will be filled with festival events\, including lectures and talks\, staged scenes showcases by our cover cast\, a Liederabend\, and a new fully-staged interpretation of Unshielded: The story of Wotan and Brünnhilde adapted from Der Ring des Nibelungen. \nEverything takes place at our home venue\, the Latchis Theatre\, in Brattleboro VT. \nTickets and festival passes are available at https://www.tundiproductions.org/tickets
